Master architect Tom Fazio designed Champion Hills golf course as his home course and personal showcase. This 18-hole mountain masterpiece has sweeping vistas, making it as visually memorable as it is playable.
 Unlike many mountain courses, 14 of the 18 holes play from an elevated tee to a downhill fairway or green with no blind shots. It’s no wonder Golf Digest rated Champion Hills one of North Carolina’s top 10 courses in 2005. Because of the mild four-season climate in the southern mountains, Champion Hills can be played year-round.
